2009 marked the beginning of Ruby General Hospital’s School of Nursing. Both the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and the West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC) recognize the Nursing Institute, and the College of Nursing was established in 2021.

This Nursing School right now was begun by the Executive and Overseeing Overseer of Ruby General Emergency clinic, Dr. Kamal K Dutta, a NRI Specialist who lives in New Jersey with his better half Mrs. Ruby Dutta and his loved ones. With ISO 9001:2018 certification, NABH and NABL accreditation, and the title of “Best Multi Specialty Hospital, Kolkata” from the Health Care Achievers Awards in 2014, Ruby General Hospital is one of the oldest private hospitals in Eastern India.

On the E M Bypass in Kolkata, Ruby Hospital is a multi-specialty healthcare facility with 316 beds. The hospital has an average occupancy rate of between 80 and 90 percent. Dr. Dutta took the initiative to establish his own nursing school and college, which will fill the void and contribute to our state’s and the nation’s efforts to address the shortage of nurses.
