Peerless Institute of Nursing, Kolkata, India
In 2006, Peerless Hospital and B.K. Roy Research Center established the Peerless Institute of Nursing to ensure that nurses receive systematic and appropriate instruction. The West Bengal University of Health Sciences and the Indian Nursing Council in New Delhi and West Bengal Nursing Council both recognize the Institute of Nursing. According to the guidelines set forth by the Indian Nursing Council, The College of Nursing’s goals are to train graduate nurses who will assume duties as competent nurses in accordance with a code of ethics and professional conduct and provide nursing care to individuals, families, and the community. Graduates are also expected to work as teachers or supervisors in clinical or public health settings.
